Fender 1979 Stratocaster Vintage Hard Tail Electric Guitar

Description

Fender Stratocaster hardtail in its original natural finish. Built in 1979, so it has some serious vintage mojo.

The guitar has seen some play time over the years, however has remained in nearly all original condition. Its a hardtail, meaning its strung through the body with no tremolo. It also features a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, bullet truss rod, and original black plastic parts typical of this period.

The original grey bottom pickups and wiring harness appear to remain untouched. All of the hardware is stock except for replacement bridge saddles and strap buttons (originals included).

The frets remain original and in decent shape except for some play wear in the first few positions. Its currently setup with 10-46 strings and is ready to play with a low easy playing action.

The guitar weighs 4.4kg, which when coupled with the string through body, means this guitar is all about Tone, Tone, Tone.

Examples of guitars of this age, in the condition are becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Includes its original Fender hardcase, which has seen better days, but functional.
